Welcome to Deaf Studies

The Deaf Studies Program offers students classes in American Sign Language (ASL), Deaf history and culture and ASL storytelling.

Materials for the program are available in the Deaf Studies Resource Center which houses an extensive collection of books, magazines and videotapes related to Deaf history, culture and language.

The Center also contains assistive devices used by the Deaf such as TTYs and alarm signals for fire, doorbells, and a crying baby.
